Role: Social Media Intern
Time Commitment: Approximately 20 hours per week
Location: Hybrid, Central Florida (in-person shoots and meetings as needed)
Start Date: May/June 2026 (earliest availability)
End Date: August/September 2026, with potential for extension
Compensation: To be determined based on experience and term length
About DL Collective Photography LLC
DL Collective is a full-service marketing and content agency focused on creative direction, visual storytelling, and strategic brand growth. We work collaboratively with brands to produce thoughtful, elevated content across social media, photography, and video.
Responsibilities
Edit short-form video content for social platforms using CapCut or professional editing software such as DaVinci Resolve, Adobe Premiere Pro, or Final Cut Pro
Assist in managing internal social media accounts by:
Writing captions
Publishing content
Responding to comments and direct messages
Create simple, on-brand graphics using Canva
Appear on camera for internal content when needed, with occasional support on client-facing content
Assist during client photoshoots and events, including:
Preparing shot lists and props
Supporting setup and breakdown on shoot days
Maintain organization of internal and client assets and files
Monitor and respond to inbound emails in a professional and timely manner
Qualifications
Based in Central Florida
Experience editing social media content using CapCut or professional editing software such as DaVinci Resolve, Adobe Premiere Pro, or Final Cut Pro
Understanding of pacing, formatting, and optimization for social-first video content
Experience designing graphics in Canva with strong attention to brand consistency
Comfortable appearing on camera
Strong understanding of current social media trends, formats, and content strategy
Familiarity with Google Workspace (Drive, Docs, Sheets)
Open to feedback and able to apply direction efficiently
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Ability to work independently while collaborating with a creative team
Flexible working schedule
